Weld-free foreballs instructions by The Joy of Restoration

This how-to tutorial will show you how to make your own inexpensive foreballs device. You can make it yourself from simple parts available online.

Here are the components you will need for assembling your own weld-free foreballs device:

The components used to make this foreballs device are all M6 thread size.
The first component is made from two stainless steel balls, with tapped holes.
One will be the bell that your skin rolls over, and the other will be the weight that will pull
down and provide additional tension on your skin.
You can get these stainless steel balls in different sizes. Here is a link to the stainless steel balls on amazon: https://amzn.to/3SfVIGe
The advantage of having the option of more than one size is that you can find the perfect size for you. Also, as you grow more skin, you can get larger balls for more stretch and heavier weight. Additionally, you can mix and match the size of the balls. A smaller or lighter one can serve as the bell or the weight.
Let's get down to the nuts and bolts of the weld-free foreballs device. Here is a link to the nylon bolts and nuts on amazon: https://amzn.to/3O4JCx3
Since these bolts are made of nylon, it makes them easy to cut to length at home, with readily available tools.

Here I'm using pliers to cut the nylon bolt. You could also use a small saw to cut these.
Next, I screw one of the balls onto the nylon bolt.
Screwing it on all the way will give you the strongest connection. Now I'm going to use
my pliers to cut the head off the bolt.

The nylon nut is going to be the spacer between the stainless steel balls.
The whole in your gripper will go around the spacer and be held between the stainless steel balls.
Now I'm going to screw on the remaining stainless steel ball to complete the device. Here we have our weld-free foreballs device, almost complete.

All you need now is a gripper to go between them that can gently grip your skin and hold it onto the device.
Let me know if you try making one of these. It's a relatively inexpensive way to make a weighted device.
